who was the leader of republicans? also called what? What is a republican? thomas jefferson demanded BIll of Rights (because the constitution nobly framed things...there were no guidelines)

how much was the bond interest to creditors? what is a bond? 6% loan government money
assume states' war debts why did this create a debate? paying them and getting credit. only some of the states own money... i wasnt fair to the SOUTHERN STATES who had already paid off their debts and the northern states didn't. only the northerners profit from this
who said paying off the debts wasn't fair? deal? anti-federalist (republicans) Federal City would be build in the South on the Platonic River. So souh now has more influence on the government.

how was the US involved in the french revolution? what happens? us caught in the middle bc we trade with both of them. war death and destruction us gets attacked bc we are powerless

Chesapeake Affair? what does this mean? result? Brit ships shot american ships on AMERICAN waters and took ppl to navy. ACT OF WAR! tunes US ppl totally against brits
War of 1812 ends? what started this? 1814 chesapeake
WAR OF 1812 north and eastern votes? south and Western state votes? NE=no (trade and commerce and money and power from them and now war?) SW=yes
how does the US do in the war of 1812? only battle won? Horrible! totally unprepared! battle of New Orleans
Hartford convention year? what was it? 1812 federalist meeting. planning to secede (north state) from the US bc the the economic lifeline was trash. doesn't end up seceding bc the war ends and changed their mind. looking bad on their part!
what does the hart for convention do to the federalist's rep? KILLS the party!
post war of 1812 who rules? bom where? 5 new states? republicans RULE! massive boom in the west!
1st big fight for slavery? missouri!
nationalism? Huge sense of it in america bc they are feeling good!
