made up of 8 sections: hematology, coagulation, chemistry, bloodbank, serology, microbiology, urinalysis and phlebotomy Clinical Laboratory
is usually a pathologist or physician. Act as liaison between the medical staff and lab staff and as a consultant for doctors. Establish policies, interpret results, and perform autopsies/biopsies. Laboratory Director
responsible for technical and admininstrative management of the lab. Usually MT with a master's degree or 5+ yrs experience. Liasion between lab staff, professional services admin & lab director. Laboratory Manager
