Complexity Definition: Characterize things in an intricate or complicated way. Significance: Make things easier and more convenient to use.
Ice Age Definition: A long period of time in which the temperature of the Earths surface and atmosphere reduces. This is caused by the expansion of glacial sheets. Significance: It changed the tilt of the earth affecting the intensity of the seasons.
Goldilocks Principle Definition: Something must fall into certain margins to avoid reaching something intense. Significance: Description to a not normal place (ex. A place that cannot sustain life is called a goldilocks society).
Gaia Definition: God of the Earth. Significance: A mythological god that was believed to be the protector of the Earth.
Agrarian Revolution Definition: A change in British Culture in the 18th Century. Significance: Introduction to technological inventions.
Entropy Definition: Representation of a the unavailability of a systems ability to convert thermal energy in to mechanical work. Significance: Alerts you when you are low on fuel.
Emergence Definition: The process of becoming important or prominent. Significance: To know your importance at a time.
Integration Definition: To combine one thing with another. Significance: Larger whole to work with.
Paradox Definition: A statement that leads to a conclusion that seems illogical and unacceptable. Significance: Used to explain something that conflicts with something else.
Theory Definition: A statement or system of ideas used to explain something. Significance: Used to describe what's possible through facts.
Evolution Definition: The development and change of living organisms. Significance: Explanation of differences in the same species.
Regime Definition: A system of plans ways of doing something. Significance: Organize communities and civilizations.
