Complexity an help explain why the world has chaos & not everyone gets along . Also shows how systems work together even though not everyone gets along . integration Combine (parts) with another so that they become a whole. The importance of this is to know when to put things together to make them one.
Theory A supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something. Th eimportance of this is to use it to get an idea of the topic people are going to study on based on other peoples ideas. Paradox A paradox is a seemingly true statement or group of statements that lead to a contradiction or a situation which seems to defy logic or intuition.
Gaia idea that the earth is a living organsim , that all things work together. People are part of it and do not own it. They treat it like the world is alive . Evolution The process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.The importance of evolution is so that we know how to adapt to the future when things start to unfold
Agrarian Revolution the transformation of british agr Regime a system or planned way of doing things. The importance of this is to know when important events occur or/when important events are going to occur.
Entropy thermodynamic property that can be used to determine the energy available for useful work in the process , such as in energy conversion devices, engines , or machines. The importance of this is to get a sense of how the earth is organized.
Emergence The process of coming into being, or of becoming important or prominent.
ice age An era where 1/3 of the earth was covered in sheets of ice. Because the ice age repeats over time, it is important to understand so we can prepare for when it happens again .
Goldilocks Principles Things have to be within certin margins and not reach certin extremes in order to be in perfect balance
