Complexity Characterizing something with many parts in complex arrangement. This supplies attention to the natural sciences (applicable to sciences related with human interaction)
Ice Age A geological period consisting of continental ice sheets, glaciers, and polar ice sheets as a result of long term decrease in temperature of Earth's surface and atmosphere. Farming was difficult then, but was soon possible and thrived after the Ice Age.
Goldilocks Principle The Goldilocks Principle states that something must fall within a certain range. This mainly explains the importance of the Earth's position, but is used through many other terms as well.
Gaia A Greek goddess personifying the Earth itself. Greeks and believers postulated that Earth was a living organism, therefore believing that they lived and used the Earth instead of owning Earth.
Agrarian Revolution The development of agriculture lead to man no longer hunting for food. This lead to the possibility of food shortage decreasing worldwide.
Entropy The thermodynamic quantity in a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work; also used as a degree of disorder in a system. Thermodynamic Entropy laws state state that the systems tend to lean toward disorder as opposed to order.
Emergence The appearance of an important property in an evolving system or entity. Ancient systems (Egypt, China, and Mesoamerican) emerged important through agriculture, development of writing systems, organized religion, and science/technology progress.
Integration The intermixing of people/groups that were previously segregated. Communities are integrated worldwide, with many different beliefs and nationalities.
Paradox A statement/concept that contains conflicting ideas. The meaning of existence with the ultimate end of a person is knowledge that spiritual gods may define; ones that do lead to the fact that gods will die.
Theory An idea of a statement based on facts to explain an unknown principal that hasn't been justified yet. Society creates ideas to unknown queries, these ideas are tested which creates new intelligence/technology.
Evolution The process by which different living organisms were developed and diversified from earlier forms. This theory connects the similarities and differences of all the species on Earth.
Regemine A mode, system of rule, or government. This allows international relations to function, as they influence world politics and monitor other activities in other countries; sometimes serving as a root for international laws.
