def of complexity A theory that says, "Critically interacting components self-organize to form potentially evolving structures exhibiting a hierarchy of emergent system properties." This mainly means that systems that never settle are hard to predict such as a virus.
def of Ice Age A period of time where the the earth was covered in ice. Inhabitants at that time lived mainly in central Europe.
What is Goldilocks Principle Where only a particular range of conditions (such as temperature) is agreeable. An example would be that for organisms on earth, venus is too hot and Mars is too cold.
Gala The theory that earth is a living organism. The significance of this is that indigenous and ancient civilizations believed this and treated the world as such; as if it were alive and able to communicate, however western civilizations did not believe this.
What is the Agrarian Revolution People stopped hunting after they developed agriculture. This halted the possibility of starvation worldwide.
Entropy The theory that things go form order to disorder. This theory challenges the evolution theory.
What is emergence How, through one system, another system appears or is created usually through the process of complexity.
What is integration The mixture of religions, races, and cultures in a civilization.
What is Paradox When a statement or example seems to prove one thing but really proves another.
What is a Theory An educated or researched guess that is improved over time by different researchers. an example would be the Big Bang theory or the evolution theory.
What is evolution The changing of a civilization or organism over time to better fit their environment to their needs; food, weather, mating, etc.
What is a regime The same form of government such as both our government and Israel's government is democratic.
