| tetralogy of Fallot | a congenital malformation of the heart that involves 4 distinct defects |

| endocarditis | bacterial inflammation of the inner lining of the heart |

| stenosis | thickening of valvular tissue causing narrow valve openings |

| aneurysm | weakening of the walls of a vessel |
| PVD / peripheral vascular disease | blockage of blood vessels outside of the heart |
| Raynaud's disease | episodes of vasospasm in fingers and toes |
| varicose veins | damaged valves that prevent backflow of blood in veins of the leg |
