Adolf Hitler was a German Nazi and the leader of the Nazi party he tried to abolish the entire Jew society.
The Holocaust Hitler's attempt to try to kill all the Jews.
World War One World War one, also known as the Great War, lasted for four years, started in 1914 and ended in 1918. More than 30 nations joined in the fighting. It mainly centered on Europe and the worlds great powers.
Schlieffen Plan It was Germanys plan, to try and defeat Frace and conquer Paris within 6 weeks.
Trench Warfare In 1914, two European fronts, the Western and Eastern front resulted in one of the most horrific styles of combat in human history. Both the West and East were mached with the latest industrual weaponry. They both had machine guns, and modern rifles.
The Great Depression In the U.S. the American stock market crashed in 1929, leading to mass enployment
Destalinization In the 1950s, the Soviets had a process that led to reforms such as loosening the governments censorship.
Containment keeping communism from spreading
Communism in the Soviet Union, October-November 1917 The Soviet Union was a communist regime that rose up into power during World War One.
Fascism in Italy After world war one, dictatorship started to come around, Italy was rocked by economic depression and political turmoil. Strikes and communist agitation brought the country major chaos.
Benito Mussolini anticommunist leader of the Fasicst Party, he invented fascism, meaning it was a revolution seeking to prevent change.
Totalitarianism dictatorship using modern technology and bureaucracy, attempting to control every aspect of its subjects' lifes.
Balfour Declaration of 1917 british governmnets intention to create a Jewish homeland in Palestine, 90% of people consisting of Arab.
Paris Peace Confrence meeting to settle peace after World War One.
Treaty of Versailles treaty imposed on Germany by the allies which demanded repairation from the Germans (1920)
The Leage of Nations an orginization of nations formed together after World War one to promote peace☮
Self Determination people choose what kind of governmnet they prefer.
collectivization putting together little farms creating large factory farms owned by the government.
National Congress Party orginization that was located in Morocco
Mohandes Gandhi a philosopher from India, very peaceful and spiritual leader gaining its independence from Great Britain.
BG Tilak Indian leader who helped bring together a military
zionism developing a homeland for Jews in Palestine
Waft Party National Egyptian Party pushing for its independence
appeasement satisfying the demands in an effort to maintain peace
genocide killing of a race,for example, Hitler killed millions of Jews, which was a genoside becasue he eventually wanted to wipe out the whole ethnic group.
