Name the substances found in blood plasma? albumin, globulins, and fibrinogen
What is albumin? protein normally found in blood plasma helps to thicken
What are globulins? type of plasma protein that includes antibodies
what is fibrinogen? a soluble blood protein that is converted to insoluble fibrin during clotting
What is serum? blood plasma minus the clotting factors but still contains antibodies
What is plamsa? liquid part of blood
What two types of connective tissue form blood cells? Myeloid tissue, lymphatic tissue
What is Myeloid tissue? red bone marrow
Where is Myeloid tissue found? In adults, sternum, ribs and hip bones
What is a red blood cells life span? 4 months
What is lymphatic tissue do? forms lyphocytes and monocytes
Where is lymphatic tissue found? in the lymph nodes, thymus, and spleen
What is the lifespan of granular leukocytes? a few days
What is the lifespan of nongranular leukocytes? 6 months or longer
