Sextant The sextant is an astronomical instrument that is used to determine latitude for navigation. It does this by measuring angular distances, like the altitude of the sun, moon and stars.
Compass is a navigational instrument for determining direction relative to the Earth's magnetic poles.
Hourglass a sandglass that runs for sixty minutes
Telescope an instrument that magnifies distant object and makes them appear larger.
Crow’s Nest A crow's nest is a structure in the upper part of the mainmast of a ship or structure, that is used as a lookout point.
