Why did the ancient Egyptians bury their dead with food annd other posessions? they believe people needed their possessions in order to survive the afterlife.
What are some facts about a Pharaohs' tomb? They were pyramids built during the Old Kingdom. Planning for a tom began after the pharaoh was crowned. Building the pyramid took a lot of planning. It was made of many stones hand cut by workers that came from as far away as Nubia.
How were the pyramids built? Workers used sleds, wooden rollers, and levers to drag, and push the blocks up ramps. It was very dangerous because of the falling rocks. Archaologists believe that peasants were forced to work for a vew months at a time to build the pyramids.
Why were some workers willing to help build the pyramids? They wanted to make sure the pharaoh had a place in the afterlife.
What differences were there in the way women were treated in Ancienct Egypt than in other ancient societies? they had most of rights men had
