Who was Justinian? A man who ruled the eastern Roman Empire from 527 to 565.
Who was Paul of Tarsus? Questionably the most important person in the spread of Christianity besides Jesus Christ.
When did the eastern Roman Empire end? 900 years after the death of Justinian.
What were the two kingdoms of Israel? Israel and Judah.
When was Israel split into two kingdoms? Mid-1000s BC.
Who is the Hebrews' Ancestor? Abraham.
What is the Torah? The most sacred text of Judaism.
On which holiday do Jews celebrate the Exodus? Passover.
What is the holiest day of the year in Judaism? Yom Kippur.
What is the central part of all Jewish religious services? Reading from the Torah.
When did the split between Eastern and Western churches become official? The 1000s.
What is one thing Jews and Christians would agree on? There is only one God.
What is one thing Jews and Christians would disagree on? Jesus Christ is the Messiah.
Why are there many Christian denominations? Because people converting from Islam to Christianity might not interpret the religion the same as a former Jew and that might split Christianity into different groups.
