Middleman A person who goes between buyers and sellers.
Shang Dynasty A dynasty that lasted from 1760BC to 1500BC.
Bronze Age A period in history when bronze was mainly used to make items such as tools and weapons.
Silk Road A trading route that connected Europe and lands of the former Roman Empire with China.
Great Wall A wall in China originally built for protection from northern invaders that over centuries was extended to more than 4,300 miles.
Nobility A high ranking social class.
Confucianism A way of thinking and living based on the teachings of Confucius.
Confucius Taught the central value of parents’ love for their children.
