Hematology the branch of science concerned with the study of blood
Hemophilla refers to several different heriditary defiecences of coagulation in which bledding may occur spontaneously
Hemorrhage bleeding internally or externally
Cardiology study of the normal heart and diseases associated with it
Agina pectoris mean chest pain.. results from ischemia of the myocardium
ateriosclerosis a process in which fatty substances are deposited in the walls of arteries blocking the vessel and increasing blood pressure
Congestive heart failure a chronic or acute state when heart is not capable of supplying oxygen demands of the body
Varicose veins a condition of having weak venous valves that leadto the walls of the veins losing their elasticity becoming stretched and flabby
Shock failure of the cardiovascular system to deliver adequate amounts of oxygen and nutirnets to meet the bodys need leading to abnormal celluar metabolism and even death
Occlusion the closure or obstruction of the opening of a blood vessel
phlebitis inflamation of a vein
thrombophlebitis inflamation of a vein with clot formation
leukemia a form of cancer in which white blood cells multiply widly in the bone marrow.. normal cause of death is internal hemorraging
pericarditis inflamation of the covering around the heart
arrhythmia any variation from the normal rhythm of the heart
cardiac arrest stopping the heart
