Jerusalem An important city for Muslims, Christians and Jews. The site of Muhammad's night journey and the death and resurrection of Jesus.
anti-Semitism something done against Jewish people
infidel One who rejects religion. Used by Christians to describe Muslims during the Crusades.
Seljuk Turks A powerful group of Muslims that controlled Jerusalem at the time of the first Crusade.
Inquisition Fights against people who did not believe in Christianity
heresy a big change from the way of thinking about a religion
segregation the separation of people into different groups often with different privileges.
