| What happens when blood vessels dilate? How does this regulate temperature? | The blood vessels widen and relax. Thus lets warm blood flow close to the surface of the skin. This cools. |
| What happens when blood vessels constrict? How does this regulate body temperature? | This reduces blood flow to the skin. Keeping warm blood deep inside the body to prevent heat from escaping. It warms the body. |
