Unit 3 terms

QuestionAnswer
Hyperglycemia hyper- = high/excessive, glyc/o = sugar, -emia = blood condition. Hyperglycemia means a condition of high blood sugar.
Lymphedema lymph/o = lymph or lymphatic fluid, edema = swelling. Lymphedema means swelling caused by a buildup of lymph fluid.
Bradycardia brady- = slow, cardi/o = heart, -ia = condition. Bradycardia means a condition of a slow heart rate.
