| Anorexia (ăn•ō•rĕk’sē•ă) | Loss of appetite for foods. |
| Antipruritic (ăn”tĭ•proo•rĭt’ĭk) | Agent that prevents or relieves itching. |
| Antipyretic (ăn”tĭ•pī•rĕt’ĭk) | Drug or agent that reduces fever. |
| Arthralgia (ăr•thrăl’jē•ă) | Pain in a joint. |
| Bacteremia (bak•tǝ’rē•mē•ǝ) | Bacteria in the blood. |
| Enanthems (ĕn•ăn’thĕms) | Mucous membrane eruption. |
| Exanthems (ĕg•zăn’thĕms) | Any eruption or rash of the skin (not the mucous membrane). Term often used to describe childhood or infectious rashes. |
