What is soil made of? Air, water, organic matter and minerals
Which minerals are dominant in soil? Clay, silt and sand
How does clay feel to touch? Sticky when wet, rock-hard when dry
What does silt feel like? Smooth and soapy to touch
How does sand soil feel to touch? Gritty
How are soils that have greater than 60% organic matter described? Organic
