What is the major reason most large cities tend to be by water? It makes trade easier
What was the main issue that led to the Arab Spring? Citizens wanted more rights and freedoms.
What city is important to the three big religions in the Middle East (Judaism, Christianity, & Islam)? Jerusalem
Which organization created Israel in 1948? the United Nations
How would you describe the Syrian Civil War which began during the Arab Spring protests? It has been very violent, created a refugee crisis, and is still going on.
What is the majority religion in the Middle East and which defines most of the cultural norms in the region? Islam
