| Ferdinand and Isabella | King and Queen who United Castile and Aragon to form the new nation of Spain. |
| Habsburgs | Weak princes of Spain who used the Holy Roman Emperor to arrange marriages with powerful families. |
| Boniface VIII | Pope; argued that the Clergy should not have to pay taxes. |
| John Wycliffe | Responsible for the translation of the entire Bible from Latin to English. |
| Jan Hus | Popular with the people of Bohemia, because he spoke against abuses in the Church and excommunicated for it; burned at the stake. |
