| Hyperthyroidism | Overactivity of the thyroid gland, resulting in excessive production of thyroid hormones. |
| Hypoglycemia | Abnormally low level of glucose (sugar) in the blood. |
| Adrenalectomy | Surgical removal of one or both adrenal glands. |
| Endocrinology | The medical specialty concerned with the study, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the endocrine system and its hormones. |
| Gonadotropin | A hormone that stimulates the activity of the gonads (ovaries and testes), such as Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). |
| Lymphadenopathy | Any disease or abnormality of the lymph nodes, typically causing swelling. |
| Splenomegaly | Enlargement of the spleen. |
| Tonsillitis | Inflammation of the tonsils, usually due to infection. |
| Lymphangioma | A benign tumor formed by an abnormal collection of lymphatic vessels. |
| Lymphocyte | A type of white blood cell that is a fundamental part of the immune system (includes B cells and T cells). |
| Pericarditis | Inflammation of the pericardium, the double-layered sac surrounding the heart. |
| Tachycardia | An abnormally rapid heart rate, usually defined as over 100 beats per minute at rest. |
| Arteriosclerosis | The thickening, hardening, and loss of elasticity of the walls of the arteries. |
| Phlebitis | Inflammation of a vein. |
| Bradycardia | An abnormally slow heart rate, usually defined as fewer than 60 beats per minute at rest. |
