cyanosis bluish discoloration of the skin, lips, and mucous membranes caused by low oxygen levels in the blood
cradle cap a common, harmless skin condition that affects babies and causes scaly patches on the scalp
polydipsia a condition in which a person experiences excessive thirst
goiter an abnormal enlargement of the thyroid gland
exophthalmus bulging eyeballs due to hyperthyroidism
