What are valves? Within chambers of the heart, keep blood flow in one direction
What is the Pericardium? Protective sac around the heart
What are the Arteries? Carry blood away from the heart, oxygenated, thick walled
What are the veins? Carry blood to the heart, unoxygenated, thin walled
What are Capillaries? Smallest of blood cells, connect arteries & veins
What is the SA Node Heart electrical system
What is normal sinus rhythm? Normal heartbeat
What is Tachycardia? Fast heartbeat
What is Bradycardia? Slow heartbeat
What is Arrhythmia? No rhythm
What is Asystole? Flat-line
What is a heart murmur? Valve abnormality, swishing sound
