| types of sling | arm + elevation |
| arm sling | holds forearm horizontally/ slightly raised, treats upper arm injuries, wrist injuries, somebody who can bend their elbow, rib injuries |
| elevation sling | support forearm and hand in raised position, supports arm, control bleeding from hand/arm, reduce swelling |
| how do you make an arm sling | support injury, put top of triangle on shoulder + pass triangular bandage under arm with the long bit facing down, bring top bit to the opposite shoulder +tie the top + long bottom together in reef knot, twist + tuck loose corner |
| how do you make an elevation sling | support injury with fingertips on shoulder, lay triangular bandage over arm with the triangle tip on fingertip, bring the rest around the back and tie using reef knot + tuck, twist loose part + tuck |
