| Monarchy | Ruled by king or queen. |
| Monotheism | Belief in one god. |
| Polytheism | Belief in multiple gods. |
| Plebeians | The common people whio represented the majority. |
| Patricians | Upper class land owners. |
| Slaves | Made of of people from all parts of society who fell on hard times or were captured in wars. |
