| Surgical Procedures | operations done by doctors to treat injuries, diseases, or other conditions using instruments to cut into the body. |
| Amputation | the surgical removal of a body part, usually a limb, due to injury, disease, or infection. |
| Appendectomy | surgical removal of the appendix, usually because it is inflamed or infected |
| Coronary artery bypass | a surgery that creates a new path for blood to flow to the heart by bypassing blocked or narrowed arteries. |
| Free Skin graft | a procedure where skin is completely removed from one area of the body and transplanted to another area to cover a wound or burn. |
| Tonsillectomy | surgical removal of the tonsils, usually due to frequent infections or breathing problems. |
| Disease Pathology | the study of how diseases develop, progress, and affect the body. |
| Aneurysm | a weak spot in a blood vessel that bulges and can potentially burst. |
| Bronchitis | inflammation of the bronchial tubes, causing coughing and difficulty breathing. |
| Rhinovirus | a virus that causes the common cold, leading to sneezing, runny nose, and congestion. |
| Skin Cancer | uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells, often caused by UV exposure. |
| General Condition | a person’s overall health or physical state at a given time. |
| Abrasion | a scrape or superficial injury to the skin. |
| Contusion | a bruise caused by bleeding under the skin from an injury. |
| Edema | swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in the body's tissues. |
| Fracture | a break or crack in a bone. |
| Hypertension | high blood pressure, when the force of blood against artery walls is too strong. |
| Thrombosis | the formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel, which can block blood flow. |
| Sepsis | a life-threatening response to infection that can damage organs and tissues. |
| Diagnostic procedures | tests and exams used to find out what disease or condition a patient has. |
| Biopsy | the removal of a small piece of tissue for testing to check for disease. |
| Computed tomography (CT) scan | an imaging test that uses X-rays and a computer to create detailed cross-sectional pictures of the body. |
| Toxicology screen | a test that checks for the presence of drugs, chemicals, or poisons in the body. |
| Ultrasound | a test that uses sound waves to create images of organs and tissues inside the body. |
| Venipuncture | the process of puncturing a vein, usually to draw blood or give medication. |
| Treatment | medical care given to improve or cure a health condition or disease. |
| Chemotherapy | the use of drugs to kill or slow the growth of cancer cells. |
