Creating Online Flash Cards

TermDefinition
Impression Impression means another form of saying assessment
Mallgnant Mallgnant means a dangerous; a problem
Remission Remission means to get better or improve; most often used when discussing cancer; remission does not mean cure
Locallzed Locallzed means it stays in a certain part of your body
Occult Occult means hidden
Lesion Lesion means diseased tissue
Sequeia Sequeia means a problem resulting from a disease or injury
Palliative Palliative means treating the symptoms, but not actually getting rid of the cause
Disposition Disposition means what had happened to the patient at the end of the visit; often used at the end of ED notes to the reference where the patient went after the visit (home, the ice, normal hospital bed)
Sterile Sterile means being extremely clean, germ-free conditions; especially important during medical procedures and surgery
