What does the term Afebrile (uh-FEB-ril) mean? To not have a fever
What does the term Noncontributory (NON-kon-TRIH-byoo-TOR-ee) mean? Not related to this specific problem.
What does the term auscultation (aw-skul-TAY-shun) mean? To listen.
The definition of percussion is what? To hit something and listen to the resulting sound or feel for the resulting vibrations; drums are a percussion instrument.
Indicate which syllable is emphasized when pronounced; PALPATION pal-PAY-shun
What is the definition of the term IMPRESSION in medical terminology? Another way of saying assessment.
What does the medical term differential diagnosis mean? A list of conditions the patient may have based on the symptoms exhibited and the results of the exam.
