Thrombus Blood clot
Spherocyte Red blood cell that assumes a spherical shape
Polycythemia Excess of red blood cells
"ALL" Acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Angioplasty Procedure to widen narrowed blood vessels using a balloon catheter
Hypoglycemia condition where blood sugar (glucose) levels fall below the normal range
Gonadotropin group of hormones secreted by the pituitary gland that stimulate the activity of the gonads
Ketoacidosis Condition where the body produces excess ketone bodies, leading to acid buildup in the blood
Arteriosclerosis Hardening and thickening of the arteries, which reduces their elasticity and disrupts normal blood flow
Septal defect Congenital heart defect characterized by an abnormal opening in the septum
Valvulorrhapy surgical procedure to repair a heart valve by suturing or stitching it
Aortogram a specialized X-ray imaging test used to visualize the aorta
Erythropoiesis process of producing red blood cells
Leukopenia condition characterized by an abnormally low number of white blood cells in the blood
Thromboembolism condition in which a blood clot (thrombus) forms in a blood vessel
