Hermes He was messenger of the gods, and also the god of travel and thievery.
Demeter She was the mother of Persephone, and changed the seasons during Persephone’s stay in the Underworld
Cerberus He was the three-headed dog that protected the Underworld
Rhea She was Zeus’ mother, and was the one who gave Cronus the rock instead of her youngest son to eat
Dionysus This is the demigod who was born in Zeus’ thigh after his mother died
Dionysus He is the god of theater and wine- and arguably the favorite god in Ancient Greece
Satyr This is the name for half-goat, half-men such as Pan
Centaur This is the name for half-horse, half-men
Hestia She is the virgin goddess of hearth and home
Apollo He is the god of sun, music, and poetry
Ares He is the god of war
Hades He is the god of the underworld
Tartarus This is the lowest depths of the Underworld, the ancient version of “Hell”
Hephaestus He is the lame god of blacksmiths, fire, and manufacturing
Athena She was born from a headache that Zeus had- she popped out, fully grown and clothed in armor. She is arguably his favorite daughter.
Aphrodite She was born from the sea foam that arose when Uranus was castrated and his genitals were thrown into the sea
Poseidon He is god of the sea- and also created horses
Nike She is the winged goddess of victory that often appears on Greek coins
Artemis She is Apollo’s twin sister
Heracles He is a demigod who was driven mad by Hera and killed his entire family. He performed 12 labors to avenge his bloodguilt
Demigod This is the name for a half-god, half-human
Eros This is the Greek name for Cupid, a god with love-poisoned arrows who hung around Aphrodite
Ares This is the man Aphrodite cheated on her husband with
Hephaestus This is the man Aphrodite was married to
Hera Zeus’ wife, goddess of marriage and childbirth
