NKS Bone Diseases

TermDefinition
Air condition characterized by weak and brittle bones, often caused by loss of bone density. Osteoporosis
An infection of the bone, often caused by bacteria, leading to inflammation and destruction of bone tissue. Osteomyelitis
A break in the bone, which can be classified as simple (closed) or compound (open, with bone piercing the skin). Fracture
An excessive inward curvature of the spine, often affecting the lower back. Lordosis
An excessive outward curvature of the spine, resulting in a hunchback appearance. Kyphosis
A condition where spine curves abnormally to the side, affecting posture and movement. Scoliosis
A type of bone cancer that forms in cells that make bones, commonly affecting the long bones of the arms and legs. Osteosarcoma
