| What are some examples for QA? | Pt identification, pt prep & specimen collection, specimen processing & transportation, Instrumental & technical performance, safety, in-service training & education of health care personnel. |
| What is Quality Control (QC) Testing? | Process that assesses testing procedures, reagents, & technique of the person performing the tests |
| What are some examples of QC? | -Every test kit for CLIA waived test comes with reagents that describes how to perform a QC test, -These are then identified when done on the box & written down in a designated place to know when to do it again. |
| How should you be safe in the workplace personally? | -Appropriate attire, -Knowing where & how to read SDS, -PPE, Know where fire extinguishers are & eye wash stations -UTD Immunizations, Dispose of sharps in puncture-proof sharps containers, - Know protocols for Bio waste |
