| Alzheimer's | Neurodegenerative disorder that causes memory loss and mental decline. |
| Down syndrome | A genetic condition caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 21 |
| Bell palsy | Dysfunction of cranial nerve VII, causing facial paralysis |
| Graves | Overproduction of thyroid hormones; exophthalmic goiter |
| Parkinson Disease | Degenerative disease affecting movement, including speech |
| Morbidity | The risk of being sick |
| Auscultation | Thing we listen to on the body |
| Afebrile | Without or Free from a fever |
| Palliative | To relieve symptoms but not cure them |

| Eclampsia | Severe, life-threatening complication of pregnancy characterized by seizures |

| CPD | Cephalopelvic Disproportion: Condition characterized by the inability of the mother’s pelvis to allow the baby to pass through the birth canal. |
