Enclosure : dividing and fencing off communal land for private ownership
Entrepreneur : someone who takes a risk to start and run business
Urbanization : the growth of cities as people move from rural to urban areas
Communism : a system where wealth and property are shared equally by the community, based on Karl Marx’s ideas
Socialism : system where the government controls resources to ensure quality and fairness for everyone
Utilitarianism : The belief that the best actions are those that bring the most happiness to the most people
Proletariat : the working class people in a society,especially in a communist context
Interchangeable Parts : identical parts made in large quantities that can fit into any version of the same product
Assembly Line : a production system where workers do one task to assemble a product step by step
Corporation : a business that legally exists as a separate entity from its owners
Women’s Suffrage (Movement) : a long fight to give women the right to vote in the U.S
Racism : judging or mistreating people unfairly because of their race
Romanticism : A style of art and literature that focusses on emotion,nature, and imagination
Impressionism : An art style that captures quick,vivid impressions of a subject
Realism : an art style that shows life as it truly is
Cartel Legal agreement among sellers in the same industry to regulate prices,restrict production and supply
