| bridging | supporting the body on either side of an affected area to relive pressure on the area |
| foot board | appliance place at the foot of the bed so that the feet rest firmly against it and are kept at right angles to the legs |
| foot drop | neurological problem that causes the foot to point downward |
| incontinent | having no or insufficient voluntary control over urination or defecation. |
| fracture bedpan | has one flat end for ease of use with specific patient populations |
