Deciphering the Code

TermDefinition
Ovary The reproductive gland in females that produces ova (eggs) and hormones such as estrogen and progesterone.
Uterus A hollow muscular organ in females where a fertilized egg implants and develops during pregnancy, it is also involved in the menstrual cycle.
Cervicitis An inflammation of the cervix, often caused by infections, which can lead to discomfort and complications if untreated.
Endometriosis A condition in which tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside the uterus, often causing pain and possibly affecting fertility.
Adenocarcinoma A type of cancer that originates in glandular tissue, including that of the breast, often necessitating early diagnosis and treatment.
