Abdomen the part of the body between the thorax and the pelvis
abscess a localized collection of pus surrounded by inflamed tissue

alopecia loss of hair, wool, or feathers
amnesia loss of memory sometimes including memory of personal identity due to brain injury, shock, fatigue, repression, or illness or sometimes induced by anesthesia
amputation to cut off (as a limb) from the body
analgesic drug the relieves pain without blocking nerve impulse conduction without altering sensory function
anemia condition in which the blood in deficient of red blood cells, in hemoglobin, or in total volume
anorexia loss of appetite especially when prolonged
antidote a remedy to counteract the effects of poison
anus the posterior opening of the alimentary canal

bruxism the act of unconsciously gritting or grinding the teeth in situations of stress of during sleep
bulimia an abnormal and constant craving for food; a serious eating that occurs chiefly in females, is characterized by compulsive overeating usually followed by self-induced vomiting or laxative or diuretic abuse, and is often accompanied by guilt and depression
