What is the Mesopotamian class pyramid? 1. Kings, priests, government officials 2. Artisans, merchants, fishers, farmers 3. Slaves
What economic activity helped to spread ideas around the world? Trade
What did the Sumerians invent? (3) Wheel, Sail, Plow
Who was the king of the Akkadians who conquered all of Mesopotamia? Sargon
Who did the Chaldeans rebel against, establishing their own empire after? Akkadians
What occupation did most early kings have? War Heroes/Soldiers
What is a primary source? Evidence from a person who saw or experienced an event.
What is cause and effect? Cause- what makes something happen, Event- what happens because of the cause
Why is the farming revolution so important? It provided extra food, started specialization, started villages and communities, contributed to trade
What are some tools of the Akkadian army? Battering rams, Terrorist Tactics, Foot and Mounted Soldiers
