French Revolution!!!

QuestionAnswer
Estate In the Middle Ages one of three large social classes. The Nobles, Clergy, Commoners.
Louis XVI This person was unpopular for taxes that he imparted on his people, was king at the beginning of the French Revolution, was deposed by the National Convention and guillotined.
Marie-Antoinette Queen of France, wife of King Louis XVI; she was queen during the French Revolution and dislike by many French citizens. She was found guilty of treason and guillotined.
Estates General The assembly that was made up of the three estates.
Bastille An Old jail that was turned into a place to store gunpowder.
Radical A person with extreme views.
guillotine A device used to cut peoples heads off.
National Assembly The assembly that passes laws and reforms in the name of the French people.
Legislative Assembly The group of people that makes up the laws.
Napoleon Emperor of France; he seized power in a coup d’état in 1799 and he gained a large empire in Europe. He placed his relatives into positions of power throughout Europe, he was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo, and sent to exile on the island of Elba.
