TermDefinition
Renal Capsule Supports/ protects the kidneys
Renal Cortex filters = makes erythropoietin to make RBC's
Renal Medulla and Medullary Pyramids Reabsorbs= needed materials , consintates urine, and carries (urine) to calyxes
Calyxes collects urine from pyrimids and directs to pelvis
Renal Pelvis collects urine and directs it to ureter
Ureter carriers urine to the bladder
Renal Artery Carries dirty blood (to be cleaned) with oxygen (to drop off oxygen)
Renal Vein Removes clean blood (no waste), without oxygen to return to heart and lungs to collect oxygen.
