what was the 3/5 compromise? slaves were counted as 3/5 of a person bc they were treated like property and the southern states wanted to use them for represantation.
What was the Connecticut compromise? 2 houses were made and then lead to the great compromise

What is the state of union address? a message by the president to a joint session of US congresss near the begining of the year on a current condition of the nation.
What is the 1st amendment? freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petetion
What is the 2nd amendment? right to bear arms
What is the 3rd amendment? no quartering of soldiers
What is the 4th ammendment? no unreasonable searches and arrest
What is the 5th ammendment? rights in criminal cases
Whats the 6th amendment? right to fair trial
What is the 7th amenment? right in civil cases
What is the 8th amendment? rights for bails, fines, punishment
What is the 9th amenment? rights retained by people
What is the 10th amendment? states have rights
What is the 25th amendment? process of removing a vice president of president in event of death, removal, resignation and incapitation
What is the 13th ammendment? abolished slavery
what is federalism? a government in which power is shared among the states
What was the original intent for the constitutional convention and what happened. To edit the articles of confederation was the goal but they made a new government
what is preamble? the intro to the decleration and constitution
What does the preamble say? its states the purpose of the constitution.
What is a census? whats its purpose? population count decides if a state needs more or less representatives
