nephrotoxin substance that affects the kidney

mammogram x-ray picture of the breast
hysterectomy surgical procedure to remove the womb (uterus)
antepartum the time period before childbirth
PAP smear procedure to test for cervical cancer.
gynecologist physician or surgeon that specializes in female reproductive health.
CPD (Cephalopelvic Disproportion) pregnancy complication in which there is a mismatch between the size of the fetus head and the size of the maternal pelvis.
lactogenic capable of inducing milk secretion.
pelvimetry procedure that assesses the size of a woman's pelvis aiming to predict whether she will be able to give birth vaginally or not.
placenta an organ that develops in the uterus during pregnancy
Braxton hicks contractions also called false or practice contractions. is the sporadic contractions and relaxation of the uterine muscle.
oxytocin also called love drug, hormone that's produced in the hypothalamus to facilitate childbirth
