What was a Consul? They were the chief executives of the government
What where the duties of the Consuls? The Senate advised the councils of foreign affairs, laws, finances, and other things

After the Senate took over from the King what did they decide on who should rule? They decided that two councils should rule for one year each

What is a "quorum" mean? It means that a percentage of the Roman Senate had to be present for a debate to occur.
