Facitis inflammation of the fascia
Tendonitis inflammation of a tendon
Atrophy weakness/ wearing away of body tissues and structures
Myalgia tenderness/ pain in the muscles
Polymyositis muscle disease characterized by the stimulateous inflammation and weakness of voluntary muscles
Sacropenia loss of muscle mass, strength and function that comes with aging
Dystonia condition of abnormal muscle tone causing impairment of voluntary muscle movement
Bradykinesia extreme slowness in movement
Hyperkinesia abnormally increased muscle function of activity
Hypokinesia abnormally decreased muscle function of activity
Epicodylitis inflammation of the tissues surrounding the elbow
Paraplegia paralysis of both legs and the lower part of the body
Hemiplegia paralysis of only one half of the body
Quadriplegia paralysis of all 4 extremities
Paralysis loss of sensation and voluntary movement in a muscle through disease or injury to nerve supply
Myasthenia muscular debility/ weakness
Myolysis degeneration of the muscle tissue
Myorrhexis rupture/ tearing of a muscle
Atonic lacking normal muscle tone
Ataxia inability to coordinate muscle activity during voluntary movement
Dyskinesia distortion/ impairment o voluntary movement such as tics/ spasms
