relative location the position of a place in relation to another place
absolute location the exact location of a place on the earth's surface found using latitude and longitude coordinates
physical features natural features such as land and water forms climate natural plants and native animals
human features characteristics of a place made by people who live there such as art language religion type of government landmarks etc.
movement how people, good, and ideas go from one place to another
place describes what is special about an area (human features, landforms, animals, and cultures)
human environment interaction how people affect the environment where they live and how the environment affects them
region a group of places that share similar features: political, cultural, economic, physical
location where something is located on the surface of the Earth
