Deffinitions of terms from WWI

QuestionAnswer
Who was assinated that started the war? Franz ferdinnand.
Who were the allies? Great Britian, Russia, France.
What is "trench warfare"? Fighting done in the trenches.
What is a "trench"? A ditch made by soldiers to live in & fight in.
What is "Militarism"? Policy for building up strong armed forces to prepare for war.
What is "Stalemate"? Deadlock, no side is strong enough to win.
