QuestionAnswer
The Aztecs were very religious. About how many Gods did they worship to? The Aztecs worshiped roughly 1,000 Gods on a daily basis.
In what extreme way did the Aztecs perform their sacrifices? They took thousands of people a year and carved out their hearts with knives.
What did the Aztecs believe about the sun god Huitzilopochtli? They believed that if they did not give blood to Huitzilopochtli, then he could not win the fight at night against the evil.
Why were the Aztecs always in war? Because they wanted to capture prisoners of war to sacrifice to the Gods.
What happened to lead to the Aztecs decline? They were eventually taken over by the stronger and move advanced Spanish army.
