Holocaust Vocab.

TermDefinition
Holocaust How Hitler discriminated against, and murdered Jews, Russian POWs, Homosexuals and Black people.
Kristallnacht The Night of Broken Glass, when many Jewish homes and businesses were destroyed.
Antisemitism Specific racism or discrimination toward Jews
The Ghettos Places where Jews were kept before they were moved in concentration camps.
The Final Solution Hitlers plan to get rid of everyone that wasn't of his race, or to make them work for him
Mien Kampf Translates to "My Struggle" or "My Battle" and this is where Hitler wrote about how his beliefs while he was in prison
Race and Space Hitler believed that Jews weren't the right race in his space and when they wouldn't leave he had to use other methods to "get rid" of them
Synagogue A Jewish place of worship
Concentration Camps A generalization of work camps and death camps.
Propaganda Some information in a biased or misleading manner.
Nazi National Socialist Party, the main perpetrators of the Holocaust
Jews Jewish people; the man victims of the Holocaust
Adolf Hitler The mastermind behind the Holocaust and the leader of Nazi Germany
