Discrete Trial Training (DTT) A response occurs when the opportunity to respond exists. Sd-Response-Reinforcement
Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Teaching skills as they naturally occur in any environment. in order for skills to be maintained and used functionally, it is important that skills learned through DTT are taught in or generalized to the clients natural environment.
Generalization Behaviors extend to new people, places, situations, or other similar behaviors.
Discrimination Being able to identify a stimulus among other stimuli.
Maintenance The continuing of performance after it was first established, a behavior continues to occur long after it is taught.
